Immunity Boosts

Boost your immunity during the cold and flu season.

Here are a few of our favourite drinks.

Flavoured Water – 1-2L

1 Lemon sliced

1/2 cucumber sliced

Handful of mint leaves

Pinch of cinnamon

Add all ingredients to water. Refill jar once consumed to use again. Disregard when ingredients have lost their freshness.

Chia Smoothie – Serves several little ones

2 cups of coconut or almond or rice milk

1 cup of blueberries, frozen or fresh

1 banana, frozen or fresh

1/4 cup chia seeds, soaked if possible

Blend together and serve.

Adult detox – Serves 1 

2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons of lemon

Sprinkle/dash of cayenne pepper, pending on how spicy you like

1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

1/2 – 1 teaspoon of grated ginger

1 teaspoon of honey

Add all ingredients to a cup of warm water.

Veggie Juice

1 apple

2 stalks of celery

2 cloves of garlic

5 carrots

Handful of parsley

Blend all ingredients together. Serve with ice.
